Presenation of Scientific research and delopmental projects on SUM
The event took place on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 13:00 in Room D105, with 60 students in attendance. It was organized as a structured session where faculty members presented ongoing scientific research and development projects.
The program began with an introductory session (13:00–13:15) featuring welcome remarks by the Dean, Prof. Davorka Šaravanja, followed by an address from the Vice Dean for Research and Projects, Prof. Nebojša Rašović. A representative from the Federal Ministry of Education and Science (FMOZ) was also scheduled to give a short speech.
From 13:15 to 13:40, the focus shifted to scientific research projects, including topics such as:
- Simulation and experimental validation of stochastic structures for energy absorption in sports protection,
- Explosion-based sphere forming and comparison of numerical and experimental results,
- Advancements in forensic analysis of compromised computer systems,
- Application of graph structural invariants in modeling chemical and complex networks.
After a short transition, the session continued with development and professional projects (13:45–14:00), covering:
- Innovation and digital transformation in project development (PRODIGY-E),
- Energy competence systems and curriculum reform for Western Balkan energy stability (NEST4WB),
- Professional projects in the field of welding.
The event concluded with a discussion and final remarks.
Overall, the session provided an overview of current research activities and applied projects, encouraging knowledge exchange and collaboration among participants.
